Our Story
Eat Cook Joy was born out of the founder, Zainab Ghadiyali's personal pain point of wanting delicious home cooked meals for her family but lacking time to do so. Takeouts were expensive and unhealthy, meal prep kits created a lot of trash, and we still had to cook. Personal chefs were an expensive luxury so we decided to get creative and find a way to use technology + training to make a luxury personal chef service more accessible and affordable.
In a short time since launch, we have saved our clients 1086 hours, cooked close to 5000 delicious servings, and averaged an affordable $8-$14 per serving. We are also proud of supporting the local chef and farmer communities as we continue to expand our services and purchase local where possible.
